Below are the optional software services we can provide to our customers, including FOTA (Firmware Over-The-Air), Auto Backup, MDM (Mobile Device Management), and RDM (Remote Device Monitor). More customized services can also be discussed and evaluated upon both sides.
FOTA
Receive the Latest Firmware and OS Updates Without Any Physical Connection
iMotion mobile computers are equipped with FOTA (Firmware Over-The-Air) service, which allows the devices to receive the latest firmware and OS updates without any physical connection. The FOTA app, System Update, comes preinstalled on supported devices and is configured to communicate with the iMotion server. Customers are able to choose either iMotion server for rent or self-own server to control their FOTA frequency and packages.

- Able to send “Release Note” along with each FOTA package.
- Able to group target users of FOTA to meet different purposes.
- Apart from routine updates via WIFI or mobile data, customers can also choose a mandatory update to meet timeliness.
- Provide PUSH notifications to call the devices to check system update, ensure users’ devices are in latest version.
- Provide API for customers to customize their FOTA APP to bridge to their existing back-end system.
- Customers can choose to run system updates from internal to reduce external network traffic.

Backup Anytime and Anywhere
iMotion provides Auto Backup service on our mobile devices, which is the most convenient way to backup and restore device data through a SD card. By adopting the Auto Backup service, customers are able to automatically backup device data into the SD Card, and therefore no more need to worry about the accidents of losing data or device shutdown. With the Auto Backup by SD card, customers can easily deploy the devices to front-line employee across entire business operations. Three options including regular backup, manual backup and periodic backup are available for customers to adopt.
